Small touches that make the evening feel personal.
The reception is where your guests relax and celebrate with you. A little planning around the programme keeps the energy high from the first toast to the last dance.
Keep speeches short
Three or four speeches of a few minutes each is plenty. Space them between courses so guests stay engaged and the kitchen stays on time.
Let the MC lead
A good MC keeps the evening moving, introduces each moment and handles small changes so you do not have to watch the clock.
Plan the send-off
End with a moment everyone shares, such as a final song, a sparkler line or a group photo. It gives the night a clear, happy finish.
